A wise man once told me people love the truth. Even if they can't handle it. If you tell a lie because you think its what a person wants to hear, or you made a mistake you are ashamed of. The lie can only add to the error you seek to avoid. You loose your power to the lie. If tell the truth, no matter what the result. You keep the power. Your dignity. Things can be dealt with. Things can move on.
